EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- June 5, 2017 -- GungHo Online Entertainment America announced today the return of the Rurouni Kenshin Collab, the iconic Japanese manga and anime series, with brand new characters to mobile phenomenon Puzzle & Dragons running from June 5-June 18.
Puzzle & Dragons invites players to draw their swords once again to take on Shishio Makoto and thwart his plans to topple the Meiji Government in 19th Century Japan through a dungeon inspired by the Kyoto arc of the original series. The dungeon, which ranges from Intermediate to Mythical difficulty, will house brand new Skill Up items, such as Ni’itsu Kakunoshin's Pottery and Steel Tonfa.
The Rurouni Kenshin Collab brings new evolutions for returning characters as well, including Himura Kenshin and Saito Hajime, who players can summon into battle against dungeon boss Shishio Makoto. Additionally, for a limited time, players Rank 50 or higher will receive an in-game message allowing them one free pull at the Rank 50 Rurouni Kenshin Egg Machine, and the chance to get their hands on one of the featured collab characters.
